Aberdeen Aircooled meet at The Potarch

Post by Alz on Mon Oct 18, 2010 5:17 pm

Well, a few of us met up yesterday for a blether and a beer, except we didn't make it inside for the beer. Just stood about outside, bantering. Took a few pics:

I reckon when it comes to stickers, it's quality - not quantity - that counts:

Not sure what the 944 owners made of us:

This 'vette sounded ace, and came back for a second look:

And this wee Seven lit up the back tyres nicely:

It got too cold too quickly, though, and it was time to head home:

Needed a full-facer to breathe, and goggles to actually see:

As the rail doesn't have much of a 'screen:

And not much in the way of sides:

And looks well out of place in car parks:

So much fun, though. Looking forward to the next meet already!

Looks like a top venue, I'm more than a little pished off at not being able to attend. MOT is booked for 2 weeks time and a pile of spare parts is winging it's way from VW Heritage.

It's ace and does good food, but like I said, we never even made it inside... Laughing

Booooo, how did i miss this? Sad
I dont have an aircooler on the road just now (or for a wee while no doubt) but i would have come along for the banter. I was busy moving to a new garage at the weekend anyway, 8 vehicles (5 aircooled) moved to there new home! I will be up for the next meet tho. That rail looks like a real hoot Al.
